When you visit Cabo San Lucas, the amount of all-inclusive resorts can be overwhelming. So we stayed at a chain we are familiar with: the RIU Hotels which are actually all-inclusive resorts.

Choose the newer resort:

We chose the Palace, but there are two of them. The RIU Palace Baja California is the one we recommend for a trip to Cabo San Lucas with a view of Land’s End…home of the famous Arch.

The RIU in Cabo is 2 Doors Down

The one that is older but looks VERY similar is the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas.

RIU Palace Baja California is Newer

The RIU Palace Baja California was built late 2019 so the rooms are much more modern.

I could do without the bathtub in the room since I was traveling with my friend and not my husband. I slept like a baby in their double bed. The pillows and sheets did not smell like cleaning supplies and were luxurious to the touch!

Adults Only (Only at the Baja RIU)

The adults only all-inclusive resort does not require too much walking. So you can save space and only pack thin flip flops for the pool or beach.

Expansive views are everywhere! You can see the famous Lands End rock formations.

Each level provides pockets of quiet serenity. You can still have views while being in the shade or right up front at the edge.

NOT SHOWN: many more spaces for seating are behind, beside and right past the coffee shop in this pic.

We spent time by one of the 4 pools as well as down by the ocean. Restrooms were closeby and even DOWN BY THE BEACH!

2 separate swim up bars were convenient and never got too crowded.

If you need a that fit inside a carry-on suitcase, this video will help…especially number 8.
