Traveling to Tulum in 2024 but not sure where to stay? I will show you my favorite resort and give you the run down!
Tulum is located in Quintana Roo in Mexico along the Yucatan peninsula. Now that they have a brand new airport, you have easy access to this beautiful, less touristy culture.
Where to Stay in Tulum in 2024
In June of 2024 I stayed here:
Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club Adults Only All-Inclusive:
Resort Ambiance:
Adults only (Never realized how nice this feature is)
Not touristy
Feels secluded
Ultimate relaxing place (with its private guests-only beach club)
Romantic vibes while also perfect for a girls’ trip vacation.

They have taken great care in blending the resort into the natural surroundings.
40 minute drive from the new Tulum airport vs 2 hour drive from Cancun airport. Travel Tip: I always use AmStar in Mexico-their drivers always wear Hawaiian shirts so they are easy to find!

Rooftop pools and nice restaurants
Space:
The Secrets Tulum is vast, but that is on purpose.
Feels luxurious because it is so spacious
***A private beach club!
This guest-only beach club was the highlight of our trip. It was so cozy and right on the beach after a 20 min drive. Tip: all beach clubs shut down around 4. Free drinks and food and pools are included since you are staying there. Get the pizza!
****You can also rent with 5 other couples the house where ABC’s The Bachelor was filmed. It is really secluded but on the same property as the resort.

We took a cooking class in Lily’s home. 2 hour authentic activity for a small group.

Our friends took a cenote tour which I have done as well. Absolutely fun and travel tip: you need a swim suit.
If you are scared of swimming in a cave, most do not even seem like they are underground. I felt very safe!
