Since we still have to cram our favorite toiletries and liquids into tiny, compliant bottles, I am here to help you find the essentials. But what if your travel-sized essentials were actually fun to pack and fun to give as a gift this Christmas?

We rely on Amazon for so many carry-on toiletry needs, and I’m not just showing you the basics. Get ready for a deep dive into the practical necessities and the surprisingly chic little luxuries that make your packing list a whole lot more fun while still being necessary for a trip. I would give every one of these Amazon items as gifts.

Stretchy Waterproof Bandages

Place them on your ankle or heel when you think a blister could be coming from walking all day. I had two in my purse when I spoke to YouTubers at Google because I was wearing heels that I do not normally ever wear. Take a shower and it does not come off. They feel like skin.

Travel Tip: get the single size – not the multi-size pack.

 Pill Organizer

You choose the one you need. For a 2-week trip, I loved this pretty pill divider. You could put enough for a month-long trip!

If you do need a 30-day supply, use this plastic-type medicine sheet. You fill each day with medication, stick the foil part on, and you have a month’s worth of medication. It is very easy to poke through the paper part each day.

I usually only pack in the daily pill organizer and slide it into my personal item bag.

Here is the updated medication for TSA information.

Travel-sized Beautiful Tweezer

It is small for your toiletry kit but not too small for your fingers to use.

Toiletry Pouch

It is actually for technology cords. I packed my 2 week’s worth of toiletries in it and my customizable pink pouch.

Travel Tip: You do not have to fold it-pack it flat if it helps save space.

Toiletry Kits

You can use a hanging kit, a dopp kit, or a pretty pouch. This set of 2 allow me to pack my toiletries but fit in little pockets of space. I love the seer sucker look in a lightweight fabric for my carry-on bags.

Amazon tells you what we need in a toiletry kit. The first item they include is not essential, which makes this a travel hack to save money when traveling. Instead of shaving cream, use the free hotel conditioner. That equals one less container of liquid for your carry-on bags.

In case you want toiletries for a man, here is a link to my recommendations.

Insulin Cooler

For carry-on toiletries I had to pack a prescription injectable and keep the medicine cold. I highly recommend this insulin cooler from Amazon. You fill up the ice pack with water and freeze it at home for a couple of days.

The morning you leave for the airport, pop it into the cooler, and it stays cold for 35 hours. In Hawaii’s airport security, their officers wanted to open my cooler. In Houston, they did not even want me to take it out of my bag.

Travel Tip: always tell the officer that you have medical liquids in your bags.

Matador Soap Bag Case

This Matador soap bag case is magical for travel when your shampoo bar is wet, but it is time to pack your bags.

Here is what it does: your shampoo bar dries out, but no water leaks, and the inside of the bag and the soap are goopy or wet.

Travel Containers

They all come in toiletry sets. These Cadence ones are perfect for small amounts like my Prequel skin ointment. I move one from my liquids bag to my personal item for long flights because I have Gold Bond for Diabetics lotion in it that I use on my skin.

I have tested thin consistency toner in these flat ones as well as the creamy toner.

These little flat ones I have tested watery shampoo in. My luggage got checked to the belly of the airplane, but nothing leaked.

These tubes are just great for packing pills, hair clips, earrings, or bandages.

Elf Lock it Down Eyeshadow Primer

It is budget-friendly, but the real reason I love it for everyday use and travel is that it evens my skin tone on my eyelids. But primer helps your eyeshadow stay on all day!

Hooded Eye Set of Brushes by BK Beauty

They have the smudger brush and most importantly the super thin eyeliner hack brush.

I mix them with my all-in-one brush. FYI, sometimes the Amazon price is different from their site.

Individually Wrapped Floss Stick

This travel essential from Amazon is always in my toiletry bag. I used this individually wrapped floss stick when I spoke at Google. You always eat when you’re at a conference and my turn was right after lunch. Another good one for men to fit in their wallets.

Antibacterial Travel Wipes

They are big, juicy and have no fragrance. Nor do they count as a liquid in airport security.

Set of 35 Baggies

A Travel Tips by Laurie essential toiletry item for carry-on bags and daily use: a set of 35 baggies. I have packed a hair clip in here, my husband packed euros in here for excursions during our Greek cruise, and pills.

Container (for toiletries or jewelry)

I love this thing! It slides between items so easily and is beautiful.

Mist Antibacterial OR Mist Essence from Touchland

The Essence is like a perfume but so soft. My favorite has a vanilla scent.

I have my case to hold the antibacterial mist.

Jewelry Case

This one lies flat, and it holds a ton of layered necklaces.

Two added features are the blocks for smaller earrings and velvet fabric too

2-piece Set of Pajamas

It looks like a sweater, but it’s softer. Feels like a lounge set with shorts that are long enough for women over 40. Think of hanging out while opening presents, lying on the sofa watching TV with extended family. And they are not hot because they’re so lightweight. Love the different colored trim in this 2-piece set.

Lint Roller

The roller ball is sticky so it easily takes off dog hair or dust from the wheel of your suitcase. You just run it under water, let it dry, and all of the lint over time is taken off like new.

I love all of my toiletry necessities from Amazon, and I hope you found some to fill your bags the next time you fly!
